Ottawa County runs east from Toledo along Lake Erie: Genoa, Elmore, Clay Center and Williston on the west end, Oak Harbor and Port Clinton further out, and the lake houses and cottages of Catawba Island and Marblehead on the peninsula.

Lake houses bring their own problems: humidity, seasonal use, and bathrooms that were finished for summer weekends rather than year round living. We build wet rooms that stand up to lake air, with waterproofing under the tile and ventilation that actually moves the air outside.
