Wayne County is Detroit and everything around it: the city itself, Dearborn, Livonia, Westland, Canton and Plymouth to the west, the Grosse Pointes on the lake, and the Downriver communities from Wyandotte to Trenton.

It holds some of the best built older housing in the Midwest. Brick bungalows, Tudors and colonials from the 1920s, postwar ranches by the thousand, and newer subdivisions out west, many still with original tile baths and closed kitchens. Plaster walls, cast iron drains and old wiring are normal here, and we plan for them before the walls open.
